Study on Compatibility of C6F12O/N2 Gas Mixture with Epoxy Resin
O gas has excellent insulating properties and low greenhouse effect potential and has the potentialto be used as an insulating medium in low and medium voltage electrical equipment after mixture with buffer gas.Meanwhile
epoxy resin is usually used as the insulation mater
ial in low and medium voltage electrical equipmentand its compatibility with insulating gas is one of the key factors for long-term and stable operation of the equip-ment.For exploring the compatibility of C

O gas mixture with epoxy resin at different tempera-tures is performed with combination of actual environment. The surface morphology of the sample before and afterthe test is observed by the scanning electron microscopy and
at the same time
the test is simulated by the use ofmolecular dynamics simulation software. The diffusion coefficients
Flory-Huggins interaction parameters and mix-ing energies are calculated and the test result is verified from the molecular level. It is shown by the result that thereis no significant change in the epoxy resin surface at each temperature compared to the control group. When the tem-perature is at 110℃
the diffusion coefficient of N
