Multi-scale Magnetic Domain Simulation of Local Hysteresis Loop of Electrical Steel Sheet Considering Pinning Effect
The harmonic characteristics of high frequency and high speed of high-speed motor as well as the its drive lead to more and more serious high harmonics in power system. The harmonic magnetic field can affect the magnetic characteristics of electrical steel sheet
reduce the power of motor and influence the performance of power supply systems. Therefore
accurately predicting the magnetic characteristics of the electrical steel sheet at harmonic condition is an urgent problem to be solved. In this paper
the multi-scale magnetic domain model which follows the principle that the steady state corresponds to the minimum value state of total energy during the magnetization process is studied and the magnetic domain movement mechanism on the mesoscopic scale is combined with the magnetization process on the macroscopic scale. The hysteresis characteristics of electrical steel sheets at harmonic conditions are predicted by introducing pinning energy containing the stop operator. The introduction of the magnetoelastic enery can consider effectively the influence of surface insulation coating stress on magnetic characteristics and magnetostriction at harmonics. Finally
the simulation and the experimental measurement results are compared at the same excitation and the effectiveness of the multi-scale magnetic domain model at the harmonic magnetic field is verified.
