Study on Multi-physical Field Coupling Mechanism of Three-phase GIS Bus Temperature Rise Based on Mixed Insulating Gas
In view of the problem that the temperature rise of the GAS insulated SWITCHGEAR(GIS)bus bar affects the reliability of the equipment
the electromagnetic-fluid-thermal multi-physical coupling simulation analysis was carried out on the three-phase GIS bus bar filled with 30%SF
6
~70%N2 mixed environmental gas. The distribution law of electromagnetic field and temperature field on the busbar of GIS was studied by using the finite element analysis method of fluid multi-component transmission. The simulation results show that the upper area in the GIS has little temperature difference due to stro
ng convection
and the temperature is symmetrical with a stepped distribution of upper and lower temperatures due to the slow gas convection speed in the lower area. The electromagnetic field strength in phase B is maximum and the temperature is maximum due to the influence of adjacent phases. The conductor and enclosure of busbar in phase B are taken as an example for analysis
the temperature rise of the enclosure and conductor increases with the increase of load current. The temperature rise decreases gradually with the increase of intensity of gas pressure. The temperature rise of enclosure and conductor of GIS and ambient temperature is of linear relationship. Improving the intensity of pressure of gas mixture can reduce the temperature rise of the conductor of GIS effectively. It is shown by the test of GIS system at certain substation that the simulation model can simulate the heating of bus bar of GIS effectively.
