Study on Temperature Rise of GIS Based on Equivalent Thermal Circuit and Finite Element Analysis
As for switchgear with long-term operation at high current
the consideration and test of its temperature rise are one of the key stages of the product development process. Since the GIS product has multiple parts and complicated space structure
therefore the temperature distribution cannot be reflected by the theoretical calculation. However
in the finite element analysis
the coupling calculation of multi physical fields of gas flow field focus on qualitative theoretical analysis and such factors as its involved multiple parameters
large resources occupation for fluid domain analysis and non-convergence calculation lead to large uncertainty of simulation result. In this paper
such main heating components as busbar and disconnector in GIS are taken as the study object to study equivalent thermal circuit and finite element analysis
simplify the calculation model and method with combination of heat transfer principle. In the analysis of equivalent thermal-circuit
the calculation accuracy is improved by the use of single component with combination of shape differences for segmentation treatment. And such key technical parameters as heating and heat dissipation in the equivalent thermal circuit are extracted. Finally
the electromagnetic-temperature field coupling calculation in finite element analysis is combined to replace the traditional coupling calculation including flow field so as to avoid many shortcomings arising from fluid domain involvement calculation in the engineering design. Throughout comparison
analysis and calculation
simulation and test data
both correctness and practicality of the simplified method are verified which
at the time of improving the calculation efficiency
meets convenience needs of engineering design and provides theoretical base for reliable operation of high-voltage GIS equipment.
