Analysis of Critical Current for High-frequency Excitation De-icing Transmission Line
According to the physical process of high-frequency excitation ice-melting of transmission line after icecoating and on the basis of heat transfer theory
the heat balance process of high frequency excitation is analyzed
the physical and mathematical model for high frequency excitation critical ice-melting condition is set up and the main factor affecting the high frequency excitation critical current is analyzed. The influence factor of the critical ice-melting condition is simulated and verified by the finite element analysis software Ansys. It is shown by the analysis result that the high frequency excitation critical ice-melting current is related to the ambient temperature
wind velocity and ice coating thickness. The lower the ambient temperature is or the higher the wind velocity is
the larger the high frequency excitation critical de-icing current is.The influence of ice coating thickness on the high frequency excitation critical ice-melting current is less. Therefore
choosing the appropriate time to melt the ice is of great significance in improving the efficiency of high-frequency ice-melting.
