Installation Method Using Air Extraction for Built-in Sensor of Transformer Oil Valve
Using the transformer oil valve as the installation channel and extending the sensor probe into the transformer tank to couple the electromagnetic wave signal generated by the internal partial discharge(PD)after directing contacting with transformer oil is the most common installation method of built-in transformer UHF sensor of partial discharge of the presently operated transformer. It is used presently not only for performing live detection
online monitoring and offline fault diagnostic test
but also for performing auxiliary measurement for handover withstand voltage PD test.In view of the phenomenon of air entering into the transformer tank due to improper installation
a kind of installation method using air extraction for built-in sensor of transformer oil valve is designed by the authors so to achieve reliable installation of the built-in sensor for the oil valve under the condition of“no air entering into the transformer oil tank”and thus assure the expandability
operability and practicality of the installation work of the built-in sensor of the transformer oil valve.
