Magnetic Field Analysis of Lightning Strikes for Primary and Secondary Fusion Distribution Switch Based on FITD
The primary and secondary fusion distribution switch has repeatedly appeared secondary circuit signal error due to various types of electromagnetic interference and even the situation of mal-operation or refusal operation. At present
the electromagnetic interference under the normal operating condition is only considered. The electromagnetic interference mechanism of primary and secondary fusion distribution switch is firstly described in this paper. The finite integration time domain(FITD)is used for the analysis of electromagnetic field of the switch.A large current transient generating device is set up to simulate the electromagnetic interference of the distribution network at lightning impulse and obtain stable interference signal. These interference signals are used for the modeling of electromagnetic simulation software CST MWS
and the magnetic field distribution around the pole switch and the secondary circuit of certain type of 10 kV outdoor distribution switch under electromagnetic interference is analyzed. The simulation results show that under the proposed impulse interference
the transient magnetic field strength at the instrument transformer side of distribution switch can reach 1 300 A/m and that near the FTU can reach 108.5 A/m
which is far beyond the specified value of the relevant industry standards and
in practice
likely causes the fault of the secondary equipment.
