Research on Habedank Arc Mathematics Model of Double Pantograph-catenary Considering Double Pantographs Interval
In view of the frequent arcing phenomenon of the front and back pantograph in the operation of the reconnected EMUs(electric multiple units)
a mathematical model of the double pantograph-catenary Habedank arc considering the double pantographs interval is constructed. First
the reconnected EMUs of Beijing-Tianjin electrified railway is taken as an example
the dynamic model of double pantograph-catenary coupling system is set up. Secondly
the functional relationship between the double pantographs interval and the maximum offline interval of the pantograph-catenary is determined by taking the zero contact pressure as the off-line boundary condition in the simulation results of dynamic model
and then Habedank arc mathematical model of the double pantograph-catenary is set up. Finally
the simulation analysis is carried out in MATLAB/Simulink software. The results show that with the increase of double pantographs interval
the peak voltage and current of arcing and extinction are all not increased in the back pantograph arcing but in the front pantograph arcing. In addition
under the same pantographs intervals
compared with the pantograph arcing
the arc voltage and current of back pantograph arcing
compared with the front pantograph arcing
are larger and easy to occur. The setup of the model can provide theoretical support and engineering reference for the double pantograph-catenary arcing model of the actual EMU in terms of dynamics and probability statistics.
