Study on Vibration Performance of Offshore Flexible Direct Current Converter Valve Tower During Operation
The safety of offshore direct current converter valve during operation is related to the effective transmission of the offshore wind power. In order to research on the structure response of the support-type offshore direct current converter valve tower during operation
a finite element model is set up in accordance with the offshore flexible direct current converter valve of a certain project. The vibration characteristics of the converter valve tower itself and its dynamic response under the action of environment loads are studied through modal analysis and time history analysis. The results show that the vibration direction of weak axis of the converter valve tower is the direction of connecting two single front and rear towers. Under the action of external load
the larger dynamic response is generated in that direction. The maximum displacement and stress of the converter valve tower meet the safety requirement during operation.
