Experimental Study on Synergistic Effect of the Electrical-thermal Stress on Gas Production Characteristics of Silicone Insulating Oil
Accelerated aging method is often used to obtain aged samples of silicone oil in the laboratory
and the aging condition of the silicone insulating oil can be judged in accordance with the composition and content of dissolved gas in the samples. However
only thermal stress or electrical stress can be applied in the current experiments
which cannot reflect the real condition of the silicone oil. For solving this problem
the synergistic effect of electro-thermal stress on gas production characteristics of silicon oil is studied experimentally. As for PMX-200 silicone oil in this paper
such three groups of accelerated aging experiments as thermo-electrical aging
electro-thermal aging and electro-thermal synergistic aging are designed at 200 ℃ and 25 kV. It is found by analyzing the composition and content of dissolved gas in the aged samples that the composition and content of dissolved gas in the sample under thermal-electrical aging conditions are the most similar to those in the sample under electro-thermal synergistic aging conditions. The error is between 7.41% and 16.86%. The results in this paper show that the thermal-electrical aging method can be used to simulate the actual aging condition of the silicone oil. At the same time
based on ReaxFF force field
the thermal aging and electro-thermal aging mechanism of silicone oil are analyzed from the atomic level. The conclusion obtained in this paper can provide theoretical basis for accelerated aging experiment of the silicone oil.
