Arc Interruption Performance Analysis of Nozzle Filled with C4F7N/CO2 Gas Mixture Instead of SF6 gas
gas mixture has received widespread attention due to its low greenhouse effect and excellent insulation performance. However
the arc interruption performance experiment of C
4
F
7
N is expensive and time-consuming. In this paper
the SF
6
and C
4
F
7
N/CO
2
gas mixture are taken as the study object and the arc model under the DC power at fixed clearance is set up. The arc interruption performance of SF
6
and C
4
F
7
N/CO
2
gas mixture is analyzed by the calculation result of calculating the cumulative energy and conductance of the arc. The heat transfer mechanism of SF
6
and C
4
F
7
N/CO
2
gas mixture is analyzed by analysis of the radial temperature and physical property parameters as well as the calculation of the energy transport. The st
udy results show that the arc characteristics of C
4
F
7
N/CO
2
gas mixture are similar to those of SF
6
gas
and the arc interruption performance of the C
4
F
7
N/CO
2
gas mixture can be improved by increasing the pressure and the proportion of C
4
F
7
N gas mixture. The energy exchange mode of C
4
F
7
N/CO
2
gas mixture is also similar to that of SF
6
gas
indicating that C
4
F
7
N/CO
2
gas mixture has better arc interruption performance
which provides a reference for its application in SF
