Computational Analysis and Experimental Study of Cable Heating and Insulation in Winter Based on Multi-physical Field Coupling
the insulation materials of cable such as cross-linked polyethylene and rubber increase in brittleness
and are likely to the risk of crack due to external force during the laying process and threaten the safe operation of the cable. In this paper
a low-temperature environment cooling model and a trailer heating and insulation model of cable are set up on the basis of a tray-forming cable heating and insulation trailer
the insulation effect of the insulated trailer under different conditions is calculated and analyzed and more-over
the temperature rise and fall of cable is experimentally verified. The results show that in order to meet the requirements of laying standards
the temperature of cable shall not be lower than 20 ℃ before leaving the vehicle. The simulation calculation and experimental verification results of the cable heating and cooling process are consistent with the temperature change trend
proving the accuracy of the simulation model and results. Both the driving and parking heating modes of the insulated trailer can provide excellent insulation for the disk cables. Heating insulation trailer
compared to the traditional into the disc cable heating insulation measures
has better insulation effect and higher flexibility
which reduces the cost of cable laying in winter and provides a new direction for the development of heating insulation measures of cable in winter.
