Study on the Influence of Plant Boundary Topography on the Noise Reduction Effect of Sound Barrier in Substations
Exploring the influence of different plant boundary topographies on the noise reduction effect of sound barriers in substations can provide a basis for the layout of sound barriers within substations
as well as a refrence for site selection of newly built substations. A 500 kV substation in Jiangsu Province is taken as an example
type AWA6228 sound level meter is used to measure the sound power levels of two transformers and a high reactor inside the substation. A multi-point equivalent source model of the transformers is constructed to predict the noise distribution in the substation. The accuracy of the developed model is verified by comparing the predicted results with the and measured data. This model is used to explore the influence of sound barrier position and height on its sound insulation performance under different terrain conditions. It is found through the Huygens Fresnel wave theory that the noise reduction effect of sound barrier is the worst on uphill terrain
and the steeper the slope
the weaker the noise barrier'a ability to block noise. In downhill terrain
the noise reduction effect is the best
and the steeper the slope
the stronger the sound barrier's ability to block noise. The conclusions in this paper can provide a reference for plant boundary topography optimization site selection for new substations.
